Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles that are Complete Sentences

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is book titles that are complete sentences. This was a fun challenge, and I came up with a surprisingly large number! It was difficult to narrow them down but here are my picks:

The Heart is Not a Size: I quite like this title! This was an interesting read set in Mexico.

We Were Liars

I’ll Give You the Sun: I just love this title, and what it means in the book. A beautiful title for a beautiful story.

She is Not Invisible: An intriguing story about coincidences, and a blind girl and her younger brother navigating New York and unraveling a mystery.

I am an Emotional Creature: A feminist collection of stories, poems, and monologues for teenage girls, from the playwright/author of The Vagina Monologues.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe: One of my favourite books! And I’m so happy to learn we finally have a potential release date and a title for the sequel – Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World.

On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous: This was such an intimate, poetic, and lyrical story, and I love it so much!

I Killed Zoe Spanos

Gravity is the Thing: A magical and heartbreaking story from the always-original Jaclyn Moriarty.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine: A quirky-sounding book that has been on my TBR list for ages!

This is Our Story

She Regrets Nothing: Sounds a bit like a grown-up Gossip Girl – full of family drama, scandal, and betrayal in New York.

What are your picks? Feel free to link up your TTT in the comments 🙂

  1. Oooh, these are such good choices! Especially when you see the title on those covers!

I’ve only read I’ll Give You the Sun, but I want to read Aristotle and Dante.
